Every feature on every plan

Unlimited users, always free. You pay for open roles — the number of positions you have live at any one time. Bigger plans do not unlock features; they simply do more.

Open roles are concurrent, not cumulative. 5 roles means 5 open at a time — close one, open another. There is no limit on how many roles you run per year. Close a role and you keep every candidate; your data is never deleted.

No feature gating. Ever.

Everything below is on Starter exactly as it is on Scale. The only thing that changes between plans is how much of it you can do.

What a credit is

Credits are deducted as the AI does the work, in proportion to what each task actually costs to run. Most of what you do is analysing applications — interviews and emails are optional on top.

Typical credit usage

  • Application analysis~20

One CV read, structured, and scored against the role — resume analysis and application screening together.

  • Interview analysis (optional)~800

Per hour of interview — live questions, notes, scoring, and the post-interview summary.

  • Candidate email (optional)~1

    One message drafted or sent.

  • Job description analysisNegligible

Once per role, when you publish it.

Top-ups

Add credits whenever you want — they never expire. $1 = 1,000 credits.

  • $1010,000 credits
  • $5050,000 credits
  • $100100,000 credits
  • $300300,000 credits

Top-ups cover overflow. Your plan includes open roles, unlimited users, and every feature on top of its monthly credits.

Enterprise

Self-hosted or fully on-premise

If candidate data cannot leave your infrastructure — regulated industries, data-residency requirements, government and defence — SortList runs inside your own environment on your own model keys.

Self-hosted / On-premise

Annual platform licence — talk to sales

SortList deployed inside your own infrastructure, running on your own model API keys or local inference. Priced as a platform licence — no credit metering, because you bear the inference cost.

  • Runs entirely in your VPC or data centre
  • No credits — you supply your own model access
  • 12-month minimum, prepaid annually
  • Named support contact with a defined response SLA
  • Quarterly version updates and a documented upgrade path
  • One-time setup and onboarding, scoped to your environment

Candidate data never leaves your organisation

Recruiting data is some of the most sensitive data a company holds. We treat it that way — on every plan, including the free trial.

Your data stays yours

We never share candidate data, interview recordings, transcripts, scorecards, or hiring decisions with anyone outside your organisation. No data selling, no cross-customer pooling, no exceptions.

The AI never sees personal details

Before anything reaches a language model, personal identifiers — candidate names, photos, contact details, addresses, dates of birth, and interviewer identities — are stripped out. The model scores skills and evidence, not people.

Never used for model training

Your data is never used to train models that serve other customers. Every model provider we use is bound by a data-processing agreement that prohibits training on customer inputs.

Isolated per organisation

Every query is scoped to your organisation. Tenants are logically isolated, access is role-based, and production access is limited to a small set of engineers.

Encrypted end to end

AES-256 at rest across databases, file storage, and backups. TLS 1.2+ in transit, with HTTPS enforced via HSTS.

Privacy rights built in

GDPR, DPDP, and CCPA data-subject requests are supported for candidates and users alike. Close a role and every candidate record is retained — nothing is deleted without your instruction.

Privacy at the model layer, not just the database layer

The language model that scores a CV does not receive the candidate's name, photo, contact details, address, age, or any other identifying attribute — and it does not receive the identity of the interviewer either. It sees skills, experience, and evidence, and it returns a score against your job requirements. That is a privacy control and a fairness control at the same time: the model cannot be biased by information it never receives.

Questions buyers actually ask

Are open roles counted per month or at a time?

At a time. 5 open roles means 5 live at once — close one and the slot frees immediately. A Starter customer can run 30 different roles across a year without ever leaving the plan.

Do candidates count as users?

Never. Candidates applying to your jobs are not users, even when they use the status-tracking portal. Candidates are unlimited on every plan, and so are users — neither is ever counted or charged for.

What happens if I go over my limits?

Publishing a role over your plan limit is allowed, with an upgrade prompt rather than a block. For credits, we email you as you approach your allowance so you can top up or move up a plan before you run out.

Do credits roll over?

Plan credits reset monthly on your billing date. Purchased top-up credits never expire.

Am I charged for failed AI work?

No. Credits are deducted only after a call succeeds — if an analysis fails, it costs you nothing.

What happens to my data if I close a role or cancel?

Closed and archived roles retain every candidate record indefinitely on all plans. The same is true after a trial — roles pause, but your data is kept for as long as you need it. Nothing is ever deleted without your instruction.
